The Squash Australia Board and staff extend their congratulations to Karen on her appointment. Karen will now join the Squash Australia High Performance Committee in addition to her other roles.

Yo!

Karen is a great person and representative for squash.

Making it back into the top 50 top women players after many years of absence from international squash (having been there previously while only a teenager) before pulling out from injury, she knows a lot of what it takes to get to the top.

She is very junior orientated and helped me get my "Central Victorian Junior Graded Championship" junior competitions started in 2000, they were very popular.  I handed these tounaments over to Karen and the "Victorian Squash Federation" to organise in 2002 and since then they have become a state wide junior graded tournament.

With Karen at the helm, the future looks good for squash in Victoria and the VIS.

Cheers

Sagey
