Just today I noticed that the replies/questions to the Tips have not been going through the forum - something I thought was fixed up long ago, and now today I find the replies have been left in limbo....with no answers.....sorry about that....so that is why you want emails to forum answers maybe?

Not sure what happened there as all answers to all questions about anything should have been directed through the forum for the benefit of all members....well, that was the idea I believe.

Anyway no doubt Raystrach has some reasons for this.

Is there an option so that a member may choose to subscribe to every thread they post in, rather than having to click the subscribe button on every thread?

it appears that you can now subscribe to all posts. members just click on the link near the top of the page to subscribe to any post.

an update or addition to any post will result in the emailing of all subscribers. this will only happen at intervals of 24 hours. so if there are 20 updates in that 24 hour period, you will only get one email.

i would be interested in your feedback on this issue

emails to forum replies would keep alot more people coming back.

Is there a reason why you guys don't do it here? Every other forum I frequent seems to have it.

Ahhh - easy, problem fixed, thanks Ray, and now we have a heap of posts dated 2/2/07 so that will make a bit more reading this weekend. Pleaseeee when you see something not working just say so 'cos I have not got eyes in my , well, toes.
