In the forum we always keep getting back to the pros; how they move, how they swing, the equipment they use, the strings and tension, the shoes and so on  - and it is natural for players to aspire to this standard of play.

When looking at the Dutch Junior Open gallery today I thought, well these pics are almost surely very similar to our top pros about 10 years ago where the movements are not so flexible looking, the swings more static, the muscles not so defined, and definitely the "dragging toe" (see footwork post) does not quite fit the same image.  Definitely the lunges are not as graceful.

Don't beat yourself up when you get disappointed with your performance, and just keep doing it and eventually it will all come together - just one step at a time.
