The Case Sweedish Open starts today and match times are as advised  by psalive.  The tournament has a big field and the list includes Darwish, El Shorbagy, Matthews, Willstrop.

Rita, I'm pretty sure his name is Nick Matthew (singular), not Matthews.

Yes, very disapponting for the organisers and everyone else who was going to be watching the final that Darwish had to withdraw.  Good to see some players willing to put on a few semi-exhibition matches to fill the gap.

Disappointment for the final as Darwish retires with an ankle injury.

Nick Matthews defeated Willstrop in five games in the semis and now becomes the winner. The womens match will now get more attention. Let's hope they put on an exhibition mens match for the fans.
