There is an impressive draw for the British Open scheduled from 8/14th September with Karim Darwish (EGY) and Nicol David (MAL)  the favourites.

Natalie Grainger, the US Champ has withdrawn due to a recurring foot injury.  Planta Fasciitis is diffcult to get rid of when sports people are forever trying to get back onto the court.  Natalie's withdrawal will allow Rachael Grinham (AU) to step up to No. 2 seed.

Nick won this in 5, after 120 minutes... apart from very tense moments induced by some decisions, it was a very good squash most time, was well worth watching.

Rachael Grinham (AU) must be the most stunned and excited player in the world right now.  Well done Rach.

A big shock in the BO when Madeline Perry (IRE) defeats Nicol David (MAL) in five hard games. What a great come back from two love down.

Ramy Ashour says the British Open did not have enough prize money to warrant him risking injury from too many back-to-back tournaments; so the cold hard facts are, he is saving himself for the big-ens!

as Rippa Rit suggested I focused on what to do to get in the match rather than beating myself up over errors.
