Brisbane qualifier Zac Alexander recorded one of the best wins of his career when he stunned fourth seeded Egyptian Hisham Ashour in the first round of the Rocky Mountain Open in Calgary, Canada. Alexander, 22, won the first game, surrendered the next two but then stormed home to win the fourth and fifth to take the match 11-9, 6-11, 5-11, 11-7, 11-8 and moved into the quarter-finals.
