This can be a useful feature :

ie, descriptive tags under a members name, it can help to identify and "weight" any particular persons contribution.

This can be helpful as one knows where the information is coming from, also it does not have to identify in anyway who the poster might be, rather just their experience.
From the displayed tag one can go to member profile for more details if they are supplied.
And then for us ordinary folk you can attach tags according to their post count:
First timer say 0-50 posts
Member say 50 - 200 posts
Squash tragic 200- 1000
Fully addicted 1000 - 5000
etc, etc just some suggested tags.
