Rippa Rita`s championship squash tip
It is hard to withdraw your tummy if you are stuck with your back against the wall while the opponent swings, ouch!  There are several things that can cause getting stuck, particularly if you back yourself up against the side wall.

Here are a few things to be conscious of:
  • After hitting the ball move towards the centre of the court giving the opponent free access to strike the ball.
  • That will also put you in a better position to return the next shot.
  • When returning the serve (especially on the backhand side), stand towards the half court line of the service box then move into position as the serve is being delivered.
This should prevent you from ending up pinned with your back to the wall. Unfortunately, for those with a weak backhand, this also forces you to play a backhand stroke on the backhand side.

Sorry about that!
