Has anyone used TF 225 and can comment on it? How does it feel compared to TF 305? Thanks!

I just bought 4 sets of TF225 at $8.95US per set. That is the best price I've seen. Holabird Sports.

Wow, $13.
Over here in Japan it's around $24 and with the 225 I have to restring once a month!
Time to do a bulk order from abroad.

225 seems to have more bite but is less durable than the 305. They are both very soft. They both start to fray quite quickly but play even better (in my opinion) when they are frayed. I prefer 225 but use 305 since I hate stringing my rackets. They are both expensive -- about $13US where I am.

I use the TF225 and I have used the TF305 as well.

The 225's have to be strung up a little looser than the TF305 because they string up tighter due to their gauge difference (I suggest discussing with your stringer)

The 225's are soft like the 305's and I feel that I can generate more power with the 225's.

When the 225's start to fray, they won't last as long as the 305.  There are many less fibers in the 225.

So if I can play for 4 months using the 305's, I can play about 3 months with the 225's before having to replace them.
