What a cliff hanger in the Cayman Islands Open when Donna Urquhart (AU) defeated Madeline Perry (Ire) in five games.Madeline took the first two games and lost 11:9 in the fifth. Full credit to Donna who seems to have taken her game to another level recently. The court was very hot and the girls were totally exhausted at the end of the match.
Natalie Grinham went down in four games to the Champ, Nicol David (MAL).

- Donna Urquhart (AUS) bt 5-Madeline Perry (IRL) 6-11, 11-13, 11-8, 12-10, 11-9
