21st Century Squash to be launched at the ATCO Super Series.

Well, when I read this article I thought "about time".  Greenspace, who has been hired, is going to overhaul the sport from every aspect including court space, lighting, design and player uniforms.  Let's hope part of that overhaul is the format, one that is more acceptable to the public, one that the spectators can follow  understand and enjoy, bringing our game closer to the viewer's eyes.

This might just be the turning point for Olympic inclusion in 2016?

Those videos from u-tube look top quality for viewers, and great matches.  The camera seems to be up close making the shots much easier to follow.

Shabana Volley NickAmr Shabana (EGY) in form at Super Series.

Take a look at the overhead volley preparation from Shabana, particularly the angle of the racket.  A front court nick coming up for sure.

Karim Darwish (EGY) and Gregory Gaultier (FRA) set up the decider for the ATCO series. These two players must be a threat to Amr Shabana (EGY) for his No. 1 spot in the World Rankings.

Gaultier (FRA) downs Palmer (AU) in the Super Series at Queens Club.  Here is an extract from Palmer's comments after the match:

“I’m frustrated though. I needed the third -- if I get that game, the pressure is on him and who knows?

“But when the stop-start game started in the middle of the third, all those discussions, changes of mind from the ref, the ball went dead.

“He went for a few shots with the dead ball and I couldn’t do much.”

This comment will tie in well with the posts about the ball conditions in relation to a game.

PSALIVE.TV will be at the Queens Club from 14/17 March with Nick Matthew and Joey Barrington giving expert commentary.  This is Greenspace's first major involvement so if any of our members are able to attend this tournament a report would be appreciated.
