Hi!

I found a Pro Kennex TI Classic Tour - Blue and bought it from somebody who thought it was a "funny looking tennis racquet." ;^)

Now I'm trying to find out more about it and obviously Pro Kennex is no help since they've gone bye bye.

Here's what I gleaned from looking at it:
PRO KENNEX - TI CLASSIC TOUR - BLUE
01302060290
COMPOSITION - GRAPHITE/TITANIUM
16 X 20 STRING PATTERN
HEAD SIZE: APPROX 78 SQ IN
WEIGHT: APPROX 175g (strung - are racquet weights normally given strung or unstrung?)
CONDITION: NEW - HANDLE STILL SHRINK WRAPPED
BAR CODE - 083918127212

You can see a composite pic of it here:

I'm new to squash so clue me in here. Is this a good racquet? What did these go for before Pro Kennex went under? What style of game is it best suited for?

Thanks and see you on the court!

IMHO, don't get too used to it. If you've only got one of them and you're new to squash, it will probably be broken within the year. Plus, do you know if the person ever tried hitting tennis balls with it? I'm sure it's fine to hit with, but I would try out other racquets for when you do break it.

As far as I am concerned, Pro Kennex is dedicated much more to Racketball than squash, but nevertheless I know few people playing with that brand (Ray, are you here????)
What i saw in action it is incredibly strong racket for a strong hitters.
If you are new to squash this should be good choice (pretty heavy so good to learn strokes and swings), I'd just recommend restringing. It may make a boost to that frame.

P.S. Regularly racket weight announced by the producers does NOT contain stringing and grip. (ca. 20 g must be add for string/grip)
