I demoed both today and I thought they were both good. I can't decide
on which one I liked more though. The Metallix 130 was nice when
hitting but seemed too powerful, and the 140 wasn't as nice (when
hitting) but still fine, and it seemed to be powerful but with more
control. Would the 150 be good because it is the same shape of the 130, so it would swing like it, just heavier? Any opinions? Thanks!

I know the 130 breaks a lot. I know there are often many returns which Dunlop often replaces. I use the 140 and I have hit it with no problem; very forgiving.

If you're not good at keeping the racquet of the walls I'd probably give the Metallix a miss, or at least go for a heavier model, which probably offers a bit more protection against impact (maybe).

Otherwise decide between power (130) and control (heavier). Personally I'd go for control and feel. You can add power with better timing, and power without control is useless (as Pirelli say :))

Magogami,

You have to be logged in, in order to see the column on the left hand side I believe.

unfortunately, I have very little experience with newer Head designs so can't help you with your question. I only know that a guy at my club has broken his metallix 130's.... MANY TIMES!

Oh no, I couldn't see the "relevant content" thing when I posted that but I can now. And I already read those posts but they don't really answer my question and I want more opinions.

OK - so you are saying those 5 posts listed under "relevant content" have nothing to do with your question?

I don't see what you're talking about...

Check the "relevant content" and "page tags" on the top lefthand column for more info on this racket.
